Money Market Accounts are often the best way to earn interest on “active” accounts. With six transactions allowed per month, you have access to your money, while still earning interest.

Money Market Accounts

For individuals, unincorporated organizations, and incorporated businesses
$2,500 minimum opening deposit
Daily balance of $2,500 or more, no service fee
Daily balance falls below $2,500 during the month, service fee of $10.00
Six transactions per month, of which no more than three can be made by check
Limitations do not apply to withdrawals made through ATM's, over-the-counter, mail or messenger
Interest compounded daily and credited monthly, daily balance method
Monthly statement provided

For individuals, unincorporated organizations, and incorporated businesses
$10,000 minimum opening deposit
Daily balance of $10,000 or more, no service fee
Daily balance falls below $10,000 during the month, service fee of $10.00
Six transactions per month, of which no more than three can be made by check
Limitations do not apply to withdrawals made through ATM's, over-the-counter, mail or messenger
Interest rates based on a three month treasury bill calculation (published in the Wall Street Journal, Money Rate section), and are set on the first day of each month
Monthly statement provided

7-89 day CD – 7 days interest penalty
