Farmers Capital Bank Corporation, on behalf of itself and its bank and non-bank subsidiaries (listed below and hereinafter collectively referred to as "The Corporation" or "We"), hereby adopts the following Privacy Notice:

Recognition of a Customer's Expectation of Privacy
We understand and respect the privacy expectations of our customers and recognize our obligation to keep information about them secure and confidential.  It's important to know that, unlike many other financial institutions, we have never, nor do we intend to sell customer information. The Corporation will continue to maintain standards to ensure that customer information is private and secure at all times.

Use, Collection and Retention of Customer Information
We will collect, retain and use information about our customers only when we reasonably believe it would be useful (and allowed by law) to administer The Corporation's business and/or to offer or provide products, services and other opportunities to its current or prospective customers.  We do not disclose any nonpublic personal information about our customers or former customers to anyone, except as permitted by law.

Information We Collect and How We Obtain It
We collect nonpublic personal information from the following sources:

• Information provided to us on applications, signature cards, or other forms: such as name, address, social security number and income.
• Information concerning transactions with us or others: such as account balance and payment history.
• Information we receive from consumer reporting agencies or others, such as creditworthiness and credit history.

Maintenance of Accurate Information
The Corporation has established procedures to ensure that to the extent practicable, all customer information is accurate, current and complete in accordance with reasonable commercial standards and applicable law  We will respond to legitimate requests to correct inaccurate information in a timely manner and in accordance with applicable law.

Limitation on Employee Access to Customer Information
We will limit employee access to personally identifiable information to those with a business reason for knowing such information.  Employees are also educated so that they understand the importance of confidentiality and customer privacy.  Employees are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of customer information and we will take appropriate disciplinary measures to enforce employee privacy responsibilities.

Protection of Customer Information via Established Security Procedures
The Corporation maintains appropriate security standards and procedures concerning unauthorized access to customer information as required by prudent business practices, corporate policy and applicable laws and regulations.

Disclosure of Customer Information to Affiliates and Nonaffiliated Third Parties
We may disclose nonpublic personal customer information, such as name and address to nonaffiliated third parties who perform joint marketing of financial products such as insurance.  We may also disclose nonpublic personal customer information to affiliated companies within The Corporation, when:

the customer requests that we do so;

• the information is provided to help complete a customer- initiated transaction;
• In addition, we may disclose nonpublic personal customer information when the disclosure is allowed or required by applicable law (e.g., a subpoena, fraud investigation, etc.).
